Meet our Outreach Team

Our outreach team is responsible for contacting and reaching out to other speakers for our workshops and webinars. They also help out in creating these workshops and hosting them for other people to join.

Keya Kadakia

Keya is an outreach director at SOA and this is her third year on the outreach team. She’s from rising senior from Texas. She is passionate about learning more about medicine and has hosted several workshops. She enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, and painting.

Laasya Balupari

Laasya is a rising senior from Dublin High School in the Bay Area. She's interested in going pre-med, and is interested in the intersection of data science and medicine. She has been running varsity cross country and track all throughout high school. For her, SOA is the the perfect intersection between her passions of medicine and educational accessibility. Grace Li

Grace Li is a rising junior from the Bay Area in California, and is excited to be an outreach intern at SOA! She enjoys drawing, playing piano, and reading in her free-time. Grace joined SOA because she believes that SOA's mission is incredibly important in giving opportunities to students from all backgrounds to learn more about the medical field. She hopes to share her passion for medicine and biology to others!

This is Riya, one of SOA's Outreach Interns! Riya is a senior in highschool in the GTA, Canada. She enjoys visual arts such as painting and sketching as well as debate. She joined SOA to further explore her interests in STEM as well as healthcare and medical sciences.

Jyotsna is an outreach intern. She is a rising junior from Frisco, Texas. Jyotsna loves writing, neurology, history, and rom-coms. She joined SOA to connect with her passion for healthcare and contribute to an impactful community.

Bhagya is a high school junior who loves to binge-watch tv shows and movies, hang out with friends, and cook up fancy instant noodles! She joined SOA as an outreach intern to connect students with opportunities and resources that can aid them as they explore the different parts of healthcare.
